Join your peers for an insightful conversation and hear how leading organizations are implementing specific components of their ethics and compliance program, while taking actionable steps to better assess the company’s culture of integrity.

Engage and hear presentations by members of the Business Ethics Leadership Alliance (BELA) sharing the strategy, tactics, results and lessons learned from the rollout of a recent program initiative.

Discussion Topics Include:

Michele Abraham, Director-Ethics & Compliance, Associate General Counsel at Cooper Standard will present on the topic of how the program assessment model used at Cooper Standard influences the way that she reports to Board committees and the full Board of Directors.  Examples will be shared and group discussion will follow.

Shawn Rogers, Lead Counsel, Compliance Training and Communications at General Motors will present on and lead a discussion around innovations in compliance training.  As part of this discussion, Shawn will share an overview of GM’s customized, risk-based training program, looking out over multiple years, including examples of the methods they use and how they measure effectiveness.

Jeff Peterson, Global Compliance Counsel at Aptiv, will present on and lead a discussion around “doing more with less.” Jeff will discuss how Aptiv leverages resources from a wide range of functions and business units around the world to create a robust and effective compliance program, and how doing so can actually help drive ownership of ethics and compliance throughout the business. A group discussion will follow focused on ways to enhance a program through efficient use of limited resources – both budgetary and personnel.
